Scholastic Storyworks

We have loved our Scholastic Storyworks so far this year! It includes lots of fiction and non-fiction articles that align with our standards. Pictured above, students are comparing across text, looking at characters actions, thoughts, and what lesson they learned in the end.

Red Ribbon Week

In honor of Red Ribbon Week, our students felt led to write drug free letters to CCHS seniors discussing the importance of being drug free. In return, seniors wrote our students a letter back! They loved this opportunity!

Class President!

Last Week during the election students created a campaign slogan and wrote a speech about what they would do if they were president. We went through the voting process and Caitlyn Patterson won our class election and is now holding the honor of "President."
